Keeper let us know that he has updated his popular DDPB Installer app for sideloading PlayBook apps. The new installer is more user friendly and has a new updated user interface. Functionality wise it does the same thing but in a more elegant way.

Definitely an improvement over 1.0.7 but still needs some additional tweaks. It got the IP address wrong when I did a scan. It also should change the Cancel button to Close when the load is done. Otherwise, I really like the progress screen. It was always tough to know if things were still going before. The OS version and PIN info are handy too.

Good improvement from the last one. But, still needs some notice on some minute details. Like changing the button status after an operation.

Wicked update to user interface! I really wish DDPB could read .sdk files. It would make this program a dream.

Just to let you know I tried the uninstall on this new DDPB and yes it removed the app but after checking my remaining memory both before and after, I noticed that it does not fully uninstall all the files. most just removes the icon. So now there are useless files buried somewhere on my playbook taking up space and I can’t get rid of them.
