Free RssDemon RSS Reader With Google Reader for the PlayBook (Android Player)

The Handster catalog we were telling you about is still making its way into App World. The latest app I noticed is two variants of an app called RSSDemon by Meecel. The app has some nice Google Reader integration though it can also be used as a regular RSS reader. I have not had a chance to see how it really stacks up to GeeReader but I like options…

  1. Since this is an Android port, wondering how often the updates would happen with this app…

  2. Ability to import from Google Reader might get me to take a quick peek at it, but no way I could keep using it for long without bidirectional sync of read/unread articles.

  3. Can we have a general evaluation of the android player on the PB. Does it look done? I get the feeling 2.0 is a big step up. If not let us know so we won’t be disappointed.

I understand RIM wants a big launch but IF Android player is ready for prime time I’m not sure why RIM would want to sell the playbook for $199 at Christmas when they could probably get $300 if they could say it runs Android Apps.
