We mentioned XWeather as a solid BlackBerry weather app awhile ago but since then it has made its way into App World. The app lets you setup a custom homescreen weather widget which is nice with quite a few options. Its not as fully featured as apps like BerryWeather but its worth checking out since it packs a nice set of features. It also has a premium Xweather Pro version without ads and more features for $2.99.
Features of XWeather include:
- Customizable homescreen icon showing current conditions.
- Accurate weather data info.
- Current conditions including "Feels like" temperature, wind, pressure, UV, humidity.
- Easily switch between different views (Current, Daily Forecast etc).
- Supports most cities in the world.
- Customizable schedule update frequency and pause.
- Extremely fast and accurate weather information update.
You can find both versions in App World:
