  1. does this app give turn-by-turn voice instructions?

  2. Yes and to me it was confusing since it made me make a right turn on a busy one way street….
    If I don’t have a map, I’m cooked…Turkey style lol

  3. I’ve had this running for a week and it works pretty well. It makes good calls on routes and turns. Gives decent predictions on alternates based on current traffic congestion conditions. The only issue I’ve had is it misses a turn that follows a previous turn in under 0.1 miles.

  4. I just sent this to their feedback email:

I have very much enjoyed using BB Traffic and I am currently using the Beta version. However, I recently had an experience which made me seriously doubt the usefulness of this application. I was actually at work on Thanksgiving. I fired up BB Traffic just to see how long it expected my ride home to be. To my shock, it told me that going the highway route would take the same 28 minutes or so that it tells me every other day and indicated that there was traffic on the route. But I knew that not to be the case. No one was on the road. It was 4:00 PM on Thanksgiving day. Sure enough, my ride home did not take 28 minutes – it took 18 minutes. I had the same experience the very next day. That got me thinking that the application is not using live traffic at all – it is using average traffic for that time on that day. If that is the case, this application is completely useless.
