RoboForm Finally Releases New BlackBerry Beta v1.4.8

It has been years since RoboForm updated their BlackBerry app for their password management service. Their previous app is pretty bare bones and then stopped development. Now they have started things back up with beta v1.4.8 for BlackBerry. The change log for this version includes:

  • Version 1.4.0 changes:
    * Sync from RoboForm Everywhere account.
  • Version 1.3.0 changes:
    * Supports RC6 and Blowfish encryptions.
    * Dual Master Password support.
    * Enhanced interface.
    * Some bugfixes

This version is confirmed to work on OS 6.0+ but may also work on OS 5.0. It can be downloaded OTA at this link or you can read more about it on their Facebook announcement. Thanks Bill!

  1. Now will it work on os7…time to give it a try!!!!

  2. It works very well on my Torch 9810 with OS7.

    It is not “forms fill” yet but it really helps to remember the 300 sites that I have passwords for.

  3. Did not work for me on my 9700 with OS5.

  4. Hi, Warren. Sadly you’ll need a higher revision on your device because its is only confirmed to work on OS 6.0+ but “may” also work on OS 5.0

    Now on the plus side. You can get 6.x for your 9700 if you want to:

  5. I had OS6 on my 9700 for a couple months but missed my apps as I had to keep only the apps I really, really needed as OS6 is a memory hog on 9700. Then I just got tired of having to reboot everyday because of the memory leak so I stepped back down to OS5 and have been happier since with space for tons of apps once more.

  6. i am using blackberry 7.1.0. when i go to synch with everywhere, i get “error occured: unexpected end of file. any suggestions?
