Fruits and Ninja Free Now Available for PlayBook!

I just discovered this free Fruit Ninja clone called Fruits and Ninja Free by Solver Labs. Its available for PlayBook right now in App World. After playing it a few times, its not a bad attempt at the original that I’ve played on my brother’s Galaxy S. The slicing is not quite as smooth and its a little bit off sometimes, but the graphics are nice and hey, the price is right!

Check it out on your PlayBook on App World. For some reason, I’m not seeing the free version when I go to App World on my computer, but its definitely available for free on your PlayBook…at least for now. Go get it before they decide to remove the free version! Keep reading for more screenshots.

The only difference I can see between the free and paid version is a little dialog that pops up when your game is over as shown below. There is a 3 second countdown until you can tap cancel. Not a big deal for me, but for those who find it annoying, you can throw down the $0.99 for the full version.

One more screenshot for you guys. My high score so far is 57. Now go get it!

  4. I see it in App World for my PB…but not for free. Damn near at 99 cents. I won’t play it but my kids liked it on my B-in-law’s iPad.

  5. Good game. Could use some improvement in sound and graphics.

  6. I’m not seeing it in Newest, Top Free, or any other section of App World. I only see the paid app.

  7. Ya, sorry Bob. Looks like SolverLabs decided against a free version after submitting it. I’m guessing they removed it and then it stayed in the Newest section until it got knocked out…forever. Too bad. :(
