I am always on the hunt for a solid expense management solution with good BlackBerry support. The latest brought to my attention is Concur which recently acquired TripIt at the beginning of the year. Concur is not the simplest or cheapest option but its not prohibitively expensive at $8/month per user with a 30 free trial which includes a subscription to TripIt Pro. They just released a BlackBerry app for the service so now you can catalog your expenses and more from your BlackBerry.
The BlackBerry app features include the ability to:
- Capture expenses and receipts on the go using your Blackberry’s camera
- Select credit card charges to add to an expense report
- Create and submit expense reports
- Approve or reject expense reports
- View and edit credit card charges
- Concur’s Travel users can:
- View flight status details such as delays, cancellations, departure gates and times
- Search for and book a rental car, hotel and Amtrak train
- Get directions
- Approve employee trips
Check out the full details at www.concur.com or pick up their BlackBerry app in App World

I’ve been using this for quite a while with my company. I never knew about the costs/charges. It is free for our use. Maybe the company absorbs the cost for the employees. They recommended we all download it. It works well.

This is kinda expensive. It would be good to have some of this stuff built into BB Travel

Looks great but I agree, kinda expensive for a non-enterprise user.
