MyCloudMusic Stores Your Tunes in the Cloud With BlackBerry & PlayBook Apps

mymusiccloud mymusiccloud2

TriPlay has slowly been rolling out their MyCloudMusic service to BlackBerry users with a BlackBerry smartphone app and now a BlackBerry PlayBook app. There are quite a few heavy hitters in the cloud music locker business but its nice to see some competition to Amazon and Google. Still the catch is that MyCloudMusic gives you 2GB of free space for your to store your music after which you can purchase more in 5GB increments for $10 a year which is not prohibitively expensive.

You can check out more about the service and try out their 2GB free account and BlackBerry apps below:

  1. Eh… The service is quite full of little quirks. The client is nothing but a dumb uploader.

While the idea is pure awesomeness, the implementation is laky at best.

I do hope they fix the issues thou, I was quite excited when I 1st heard of them (and for the 20 minutes before I noticed the bugs).

  2. I use 7 digital that comes with the playbook. I think everything I purchase is stored there.

  3. My music stores on my SDcard!
