Do not install this if you really use the synchronisation features of the DM. This version is FAR from prime time.
The major goal seems to be the replacement of Intellisync (owned by Nokia, I believe) with their own engine.
I tried the experiment and this new Beta DM does not currently understand that you might have multiple accounts or multiple contact folders. For example – I have 4 contact folders (Personal, Work 1, Work 2, and “Old”) and it only connects to “Work 1″.
Same for Notes, Tasks and Calendars: The current beta connects only to the main Outlook account (Exchange) and not to any other .PST file.
Be warned – this is a radical departure from the last few years of technology and it’s in very early testing stages.
