  1. Fukin rite going get it

  2. So far i has a nice look and feel to it. I still wish they would break down the categories a little more to keep the number of apps in them a little more manageable. Having over 700 apps under Apps/Utilities/Utilities is a bit excessive.

  3. I certainly hope they change the menu system. One must chose “Close”, which is essentially “Back” , a multitude of times just to quit the application. To me that is amateur coding. Not sure what they are thinking.
    Should be option=BACK

  4. Its so beautiful look at all them pretty colors 🙂

  5. I like the fact that the list of apps in each category now shows a short description for each app. Previously, all you had was the app name and vendor name, which often made it hard to guess what the app was about. Now, each vendor can supply a 50 character short description for an app.

    • I like the idea of an alternate short-description field a lot. However, the 50-character limit is *far* too small and thus completely hamstrings this as the “one line sales pitch” as RIM describes it. (Even a 140-character tweet-like limit would be challenging to make useful.)

  6. You can now ‘delete’ uninstalled apps now by using the ignore feature in the menu.

  7. my first impressions are very good and RIM made a right step with the new AppWorld
