RIM posted up a great interview with the project managers for the all touch BlackBerry Torch 9850 and 9860. They talk about how they made the all touch device and the design inspiration behind it. They also tapped the project manager for the BlackBerry Torch 9810 to talk about that device and how it refined the original Torch.

Very good read all around. Check the interviews out at the links below:

The torch 9850/60 is so beautiful making me wanna go fully touch :( i really need these devices out to play around with it but i really love the bold 9900 and it wouldn’t hurt to have two blackberries now would it :)

    • Hi @crackm8701,

Alex from RIM here. I hear you on the difficult decisions – my fellow co-workers and I at RIM have had just as hard of a time choosing one device!

Each of the new OS 7 smartphones have their own strengths, but all rock the new BlackBerry 7 OS – providing faster and smoother web browsing, multi-touch capability, voice activated universal search, as well as the ability to manage and keep separate your personal and business content with BlackBerry Balance.

Thanks, as always, for your enthusiasm and remember that in addition to commenting here, you can also share your thoughts with us on Twitter (@BlackBerry) or Facebook (http://bbry.lv/bdmrXv).

      Cheers,
      Alex, RIM Social Media Team

      • Yea its really hard after seeing all the new devices at once.

Now i know why there wasn’t a launch of all the OS 7 devices at once it would be really hard to choose then haha.

I really love the idea of the blackberry balance and the time for it is just perfect!
