The Joy Of Tech Comic Takes Another Pot Shot @ RIM

JoyOfTech BlackBerry

You have to love the guys at the Joy of Tech. Quite a few of you sent us their latest comic. This one tries to lampoon RIM as the “Five Stages of Death" though there may be some truth to it since RIM is transitioning. There is always the death of an old way and moving to a new way sort of like a phoenix rising from the ashes. As usual most are simply trying to just focus on the ashes. The irony is that everybody is telling RIM that it needs to change things and then starts claiming all of those changes are the sign of RIM dying…

  1. Honestly I posted on Crackberry that they should just bugger off and admit they’ve given up on RIM, but I see even BR can’t resist posting crap like this.

At the end of the day it is of course ALL RIM’S FAULT even I am getting sick of seeing these “preview” videos of products that haven’t even been announced and leaks of OS 7 when there is no F-ing OS7 product on the market…

And why???? Because RIM doesn’t even know when carriers will approve their phones it TOTALLY F-ING PATHETIC.

If that’s the response you wanted from posting this then you’ve got it.

  2. Don’t worry about RIM too much. Most of this stuff is simply because RIM has not released a significant device in a year. We just share BlackBerry news that is of interest and I thought this could spark an interesting conversation.

  3. I know I wasn’t really blaming BR, CB on the other hand seems to revel in this stuff. I guess we have to wait another month before we get product and I supposed there are still some suckers buying blackberries (I think very few) so RIM and the carriers want to hold off on announcing devices but really I just want to bang my head against the wall somedays.

  4. I understand your frustration kiddo but sometimes everyone got to be open for a little criticism and just laugh about it because its everywhere :) and not let it get to you too much.

Right now RIM is the underdog and I can see they working but you know its gonna take some time to achieve their goals (slowly but surely).
