BlackBerry Torch 9810 & 9860 Virtual Keyboard Caught on Video

BlackBerry Torch 9860 typing

We have see quite a bit of these unreleased devices in the past few months. Still it is nice to see somebody has dedicated some time to the changes RIM has made the the virtual on screen keyboard in BlackBerry 7. From what I am seeing in these videos by Dungmr1 we are in for a nice update. I am still hoping that RIM simply buys a company like Swype to revamp the keyboard and offer third party options but that is still a dream. Check it out and let us know what you think! Kudos to the CrackBerry team for spotting these.

  1. Hmmm . . . the 9810 is not in this video. The glory goes to the 9860.

  2. I would think that some form of swype keyboard is the natural evolution of QNX. they should focus on vertical and up/down swiping movements and arrange it where you can change size of font and symbols just swiping.

  3. I’m not a big fan of swype only used it for a month on a thunderbolt not cool at all but that’s just my experience on it it was cool when it first came out though

  4. Love the new look. It seem more roomy now 🙂
