I am pretty happy with OS 6.0.0.600 on my Torch but I have not heard many reports of it on the Bold 9650 yet. You can now try it out for yourself officially thanks to Sprint. Quite a few readers let us know that the download is now available and some are already seeing it through desktop manager.
Simply head on over to the Sprint download site @BlackBerry.com to pick it up
Warning: This OS will not install on any other BlackBerry besides the one mentioned above. Don’t forget to delete the vendor.xml file located in c:program files>common files>research in motion>apploader to install it on a different carriers device. If you do not know how to upgrade your BlackBerry OS please start by reading this step by step guide.

There’s actually another vendor.xml file that needs to be deleted with this release. It’s a hidden file, and it’s located in the Loader XML folder. Be sure to show all files so you can find it, otherwise AppLoader (loader.exe) won’t recognize the OS upon loading.
