RIM Shows Off BlackBerry Balance in Quick 2 Minute Video

 BlackBerry Balance BlackBerry Balance2

While most of the features of BlackBerry Balance are already available for IT BES administrators to try out there are many who want a quick recap of how it actually works. RIM previously put up some great documentation on the features segregating work and personal use back at BlackBerry World but there was a lack of visuals. They just made some strides towards fixing that with a quick 2 minute demo video showing how it looks from a BES admins viewpoint and how it works on a BlackBerry device.

  1. Very informative for a non BES aware/BIS customer :-D

  2. that is really dumb… i was expecting alot more from balance.

    disappointed

  3. Good move RIM that will attract more business…..

  4. Very smart piece of technology imo. What company/IT admin wouldn’t like to stop an employee from inadvertently posting the wrong stuff to Facebook or twitter?

Also, anyone leaving a company doesn’t have to worry about loosing all personal data like pictures, etc because of a bes-pushed wipe.

    • Hi @Viira Dev,

Alex from RIM here. Glad you like the look of BlackBerry Balance. You hit the nail on the head – BlackBerry Balance serves both sides of the business and personal use equation. By allowing the use of personal and business apps without compromising security, Balance provides the flexibility for employees to carry a single smartphone instead of dual devices.
