Dilbert of the Day… Smartphone Issues Part Deux

Dilbert takes on smartphones

We told you about the Dilbert yesterday that took on smartphone recommendations. Josep pointed out that today’s Dilbert takes on something similar. Smartphone reception. Its actually something I have noticed on a regular basis where my Torch will have 5 bars right next to an AT&T Android and iPhone which have 1-3. What has been your experience?

  1. My experience is always UMA <--- wifi/mifi powered all day... I seldom stray to network coverage.... Lol

  2. 3G coverage that varies between 1 bar and 5 bars while at work in the city — all without me so much as touching the phone. And when it’s 5 bars… I still get speeds that won’t even let me watch a 240-resolution video.

On the other hand, if I force 2G I get five bars. Not quite what I’m paying for every month, but my options are limited 😉

At home – where I have wifi – 3G is 5 bars, all the time…

  3. I get 3G when i got 5bars and EDGE when its 2Bars……..but as of late i been getting a lot of EDGE home and the road i guess at&t working on the towers are something
