I have not had a chance to watch the latest X-Men installment but it has perked my interest. David took his wife who hates super-hero movies and she supposedly loved it. In another first I noticed that X-Men now has their own X-Men EXTRA Magazine in App World for the BlackBerry PlayBook. I am not sure why a movie needs a magazine but it is a pretty nice showing of a magazine interface on the PlayBook with some slick page flipping.
Check out X-Men EXTRA Magazine in App World

The app also has “hidden” bits, movie clips etc that you can find by tapping various pictures and other objects.

What country are you guys in? I got the same thing, but when I went to the app world page on my PC I noticed that US, UK and Australia are the only supported countries.

I dunno why my first comment was removed but it stated it was only available in the US, UK and Australia. Blame Fox for not licensing it.. big media strikes again!

Your comment (if you’re “anon” above) is still there. As for the rest – perhaps big media does strike again. But if not for that selfsame media this particular content would never have been released in the first place…

Very profound but that doesn’t help me.. as a Canadian enjoy their content. Nor does it help them on their ultimate mission of promoting the movie to me which in turn would assist them in regaining some of the profits spent on advertising.
