It has been almost a year since SugarSync updated their BlackBerry app to v1.5. Luis pointed out to me that my favorite cloud synching solution has updated their BlackBerry app to v2.0 under the radar. I am not sure what is new in this update but I am currently downloading it. From the feature list it does not look like they have finally added auto synching to the BlackBerry but hopefully that is coming along with a PlayBook client.
You can pick up the updated SugarSync v2.0 in App World. Let us know what you find since there does not seem to be a change log I can find. If you don’t already have a SugarSync account I highly recommend setting one up since in my opinion it beats out the competitors like DropBox and offers 5GB of free storage.

There won’t be a client for the PlayBook unless we buzz them enough for one.
I sugest everybody to go to their forums and ask for it: http://sugarsync.hivelive.com/posts/74b7a34086

Looks impressive. Has anyone used SugarSync and Dropbox? If so, what the difference and which would you recommend?

I’m definitely interested in this app. I’ll be checking it out when I get home.

I find this endorsement funny. I just cancelled my sugarsync account because not only will they not have a client for the playbook, they refused to fix the issue where their service does not work with the playbook browser.
I switched to dropbox. The only difference is you can make a back up copy of computers on ss, but i never used that feature.
i can accept that they won’t produce a client for the playbook, but refusing to even look at the browser issue when 90% or more of the net works on the browser and I can upload and download files on ms outlook to me was just arrogant and dumb. If you are interested in a service like this use dropbox and blue box on your playbook.
