Sprint Wi-Fi BlackBerry PlayBook Available Online – in Stores Today

Sprint BlackBerry PlayBook

Well the time has come for the first major US carrier to start selling the BlackBerry PlayBook. While we are all waiting for the 4G versions of the device this is only the Wi-Fi version in the 16GB flavor from Sprint. They are already selling it on their website for $499 at this link though they issued a press release with RIM over the weekend saying it will go on sale.

Supposedly starting today you will find the PlayBook in Sprint stores, online, and through telesales. Check out the announcement at this link!

  1. Glad to see a carrier finally supporting the PlayBook. I like the good relationship that Sprint seems to have with RIM. Now give me the 9930 before the end of the summer and I’ll be happy.

  2. I have had a PlayBook since April 19th and still I am discovering amazing things that it can do. It was well spent money.

Love the design, the feel, and the speed.
    1 Very happy customer.
