The BlackBerry PlayBook has been missing a solid Twitter client since launch and many are waiting for RIM to release a version for the PlayBook. Until then Blaq has picked up the torch with a slick PlayBook Twitter client that really shows off the PlayBook. It has a nice design and does not skimp on its feature set.
Features include:
- Beautiful, intuitive user interface
REAL-TIME userstream support - Native or editable retweet support
- View your lists that you’ve curated from Twitter.com
- In-app notifications
- Username auto-completion
- Full user profile view
- Web and image previews within Blaq
- In-app support for all 211 embed.ly services (YouTube, Tumblr, Posterous, SoundCloud, etc.) – Full list here: http://api.embed.ly/
- URL shortening with the custom bl4q.me shortener
- Photo posting
You can find Blaq for the BlackBerry PlayBook in App World at this link for a very reasonable $1.99

I wouldn’t trust this app. Anybody can control what it does since their API keys are almost public.
