RIM Travelling the US and Canada With the BlackBerry PlayBook Tour Truck

PlayBook Truck

RIM posted up the dates for the cross country/border BlackBerry PlayBook Tour. They are going around the US and Canada with a BlackBerry PlayBook Tour truck showing off the features of the BlackBerry PlayBook. They seem to be hitting quite a few cities with 16 dates listed now with three of them in Canada. What is odd is they have two going on during Canada Day with one in Toronto and one in Vancouver on the same day.

Check out the dates and details at this link and let us know if you meet up with the PlayBook Tour team!

  1. Its great that there doing this. Promotion and informing the public is the best way to battle the erroneous and misleading information being peddled by misinformed/Ipad loving analysts. Hopefully, they also take the oppurtunity to promote their blackberry smartphone line – current/upcoming as having one truly makes the PlayBook experience complete.

  2. Am I the only one that cant access the tour date site on my pb? Dont tell me that RIM made a site for a PB that a PB cant read

  3. yahooo! They are coming to the Calgary Stampede!! July 7th

  4. I don’t want this kind of stuff…I want native e-mail and BBM!

    • i watched a video interview with jim and he was asked about native email etc and he stated it should be coming in the next 60 days.

i counted the days from the day of that interview and the 60th day was like just a bit past mid june. it was actually before the official first day of summer!

i don’t think he would have said 60 days if it was more like 120 days+ so I expect to see all things native by end of june!

  5. Looks like they are not coming to Montreal before a French version of the Tablet OS is available!

  6. I’m really glad they’re FINALLY advertising! Jeez, for the longest time there was no advertisement for any Blackberry devices. Hopefully they keep it up once the new ones come out. If they did a count down advertisement campaign for the new phones before they come out that would really help put them on the map again. Again, RIM if you’re listening- Emphasize the unique features of the phone, like BBM, UMA, Surf and talk (to shut up AT&T saying the ONLY company that does it..hello T-MO does it too losers!) etc…

  7. It would be great if RIM brought the tour to Alaska!
