ToySoft has released their new app called AutoWiFi, it automatically turns your WiFi off when connected to a Bluetooth device to help preserve your battery. AutoWiFi recognizes when a Bluetooth device is connected and turns off your WiFi, this can be helpful when tethering or transferring files via Bluetooth. One of the main reasons for this app is for when you Bridge your PlayBook with your BlackBerry.
AutoWiFi will will remember up to 32 Bluetooth profiles and will also turn WiFi back on when the Bluetooth connection is lost or disconnected.
You can find it in the BerryReview Store for $0.99 and here are some more screenshots of the app.

This is a clever idea. I’m always a fan of Toysoft. I do actually keep my Bluetooth on just to communicate with the PB and then I like having the WiFi on at the same time just to have quicker download speeds on my BlackBerry. Safe to say I’m an addict.

Sounds like a good app and cheap.
I use SmartWifi on my 9700 and it’s a real battery saver.
