During the keynote RIM highlighted two apps, Foursquare and Kobo, which are using the BlackBerry Messenger Social Platform API’s to make the apps more “social”. The first was an updated version of Foursquare for BlackBerry that is coming out which will let you share your location along with your badges on BlackBerry Messenger. The next thing Mike Kirkup showed off was Kobo which we heard was getting Social Platform months ago but have yet to see actually released. Kobo will let you chat with other people who are reading the same book or read what your contacts say about a book. Both of them require you to agree to share the information in typical RIM fashion. Check them out in action below!
