RIM teamed up with Wikitude to bring their augmented reality solution to BlackBerry OS 7 and the BlackBerry Bold 9900 to show off the new magnetometer in the device. In this partnership with RIM they are preloading their Wikitude World Browser on the BlackBerry Bold 9900. Their app offers more than 150 million geo-referenced places from over 1,000 content sources like Wikipedia, Twitter, and YouTube. It also integrates with BBM to meet BBM contacts in Augmented Reality. That last feature is what really sounds cool!

  1. Can you post a video of it?

BTW why is Luciano a moderator, he’s ripping on RIM and saying Android is already a better OS than QNX. Not only is that cry baby it isn’t even credible. Strange to have that guy as a moderator.

  2. This keeps getting better and better! I love you, RIM 🙂
