  1. boing!!!!!!

  2. I still see on app world. When is update scheduled?

    • To see the new release go into your AppWorld account (showing all the applications you’ve already installed including Bridge) and then hold the ALT key down while typing RST. (short for Reset). After a while your list will be updated and you’ll have the option to upgrade.

This is the easiest way to brute force the version check.

  3. You can get it OTA from a link posted on Crackberry and they claim they have bbm up and running on the playbook.

    Not that boring! 🙂

  4. Does it work on ATT?

  5. Link to os5 dl is down

  6. links not working, anyone else have them, i am also getting in AppWorld

  7. Keep getting an error, file not found on the above links

  8. The new Bridge app does not appear on my 9800 on the rogers network.

  9. for those of you still getting v1.0.0.76 in appworld try this:
ok when opening Appworld press ALT+R+S+T it will close AppWorld and cleanout the cache. open it again and you should now have Blackberry Bridge v1.0.0.83

  10. Downloaded and now bridge does not seem to be working anymore. Come on put up software that works!

  11. Up and working. Phone says it’s the new version, but do not see any bbm icon under blackberry bridge on playbook. What’s up? Thanks.

  12. WTF? I even did a reboot on my playbook and still no bbm icon. Anyone else getting this problem? Did the icon just appear on your playbooks or what?????

    • You need to load the Bridge on the phone, not the PlayBook.

Once you’ve done that (and rebooted your phone) you’ll get the BBM icon under the BlackBerry Bridge subset of menus on your playbook.

(at least – that’s how it worked over here)

  13. To those that are having problems getting BBM to show up on your phone… I do believe that you have to have the beta BBM from beta zone installed. It is free to sign up and all.

  14. Just FYI for others. Crackberry says you need BBM from the beta zone, but also heard there is an update to BBM, so Im going to download that. Sorry I can’t delete my earlier posts.

  15. Ok, Up and running and it looks fab!! on the playbook.
    These are the steps:
    1) Download the bridge update (OTA from link here, if you are on AT&T)
    2) Download the new BBM from App World. Even AT&T has it.
    3) Accept your BBM user ageement!!

I forgot to do 3 and when I openned BBM on the playbook it said you haven’t accepted the end user agreement. At I thought Douh! another problem, then i recalled I have to do that everytime I download a new BBM. Once I accepted it on the phone. It worked like a charm on the playbook! It really looks nice too. 😀
