About BlackBerry Bridge

If you’re running BlackBerry® Device Software 5.0 or later on your BlackBerry smartphone, you can connect your BlackBerry®
PlayBook™ tablet to your smartphone to access email, calendars, files, and other data directly from your tablet. Files and data
must be stored on a media card to access them from your tablet. Your tablet connects to your smartphone using Bluetooth® technology. To connect, you need the BlackBerry® Bridge™ app
installed on your smartphone. You can download it from the BlackBerry App World™ storefront.
When your tablet and smartphone are connected, these icons appear on your tablet home screen

  1. I picked mine up at Staples this morning. First one there!

  2. grabbed mine at futureshop this am….

  3. I got my plabyook all set up and going. BB Bridge is installed, but, I don’t see BBM…. anyone else not seeing BBM?

    • BBM is not suppported from the hop. Update your playbook software first off and then download the updated desktop software.
The only thing I am missing is BBM. All other bridge functions seem to work.

  4. Fail. I thought I would be able to play a youtube video and switch to something else. When I do that, it turns off the video and thus the sound stops.

What type of multi tasking is that!!

    Am i missing something??????

    Can anyone assist?

  5. I even tried playing the HD promo video in the background and going on the browser…. it turns off the video. I thought it was supposed to keep going!

  6. It makes me want one even more.
