AT&T Official OS For the Torch 9800

ScreenHunter_01 Apr. 16 12.02It has been a while since AT&T pushed an official OS for the BlackBerry Torch 9800. Martin and a few others let us know that they have pushed out OS v6.0.0.526. Simply plug your device to your PC and  start Desktop manger and you will be prompted to do the update. This update was leaked last weekend you can read about it at this link.

Note: I highly recommend that you backup your device before doing the update because you do not want to run the risk of something going wrong with the update.

  1. What?? This os is not even stable!

The media card has issues and camera tad lag! Not to mention laggy landscape in browser! (At least for me)

  2. if this is a problem why do they still releasing non stables OS

  3. Strange that it is not the first OS that comes up on the official AT&T page. Took me a while to see it. Is this really not better than.

Funny that when I checked for update on the phone is says yes there is an update, but when I hook to computer and run Desktop software it says there is no update.

Not sure whether to update or not. Nothing better? Only worse?

  4. i dont suppose there’s a changelog

  5. Changelog? Since when has RIM or AT&T ever put out a changelog with their releases?

  6. Come on!!! Unleash 6.1 already, can’t wait.

  7. Did anyone update? Good/Bad/ No Change??

  8. Only had my torch for a short time so I am still learning how it works. I too had the same issue when I tried to update from desktop Manager. I went ahead and updated last night and so far I can’t see any real differences. But I still love this phone over the iPhone the wanted me to use for work.

  9. I may just wait for the 6.1 leaks to come out. I’m getting tired of installing leaks and official versions of 6.0. Any idea how far out 6.1 really is?

  10. The only problem I’ve noticed since I updatee is that a lotnof words don’t show upnin my browser… Ex. No words at the bottom of the google browser page, just some lines.
