Although we already know that BlackBerry Messenger will work on the PlayBook via the BlackBerry Bridge, I have yet to see it in action…until now. Its tough to see, but you can tell that messages are being received on the PlayBook. Check out the video below.
Another interesting point that is mentioned by this demonstrator is the ability to connect a BlackBerry Smartphone device to a PlayBook by scanning a barcode. Pretty cool.
I wish this video was longer as it seems this guy was asking some good questions and it got cut off, but I guess we won’t have to wait too much longer to see every feature of the PlayBook.
I enjoyed the demonstrator’s comment “Why should you have to put it down if you don’t have to.” Well said Mr. Demonstrator.

Speaking as a diehard Blackberry user, this bridge capability is really great. I can’t wait to get my hands on the Playbook.

This is nice…BB messenger on the Playbook will sure enhance the messaging experience!! Especially when you are sharing pictures and videos!!
