Starbucks Card Mobile app Adds BlackBerry Torch 9800 Support

Starbucks blackberry2' Starbucks blackberry1

It was a snafu that Starbucks did not support the flagship BlackBerry Torch 9800 when they launched their app but they have corrected the mistake. Starbucks announced support for the Torch on their blog at this link. While not a Starbucks addict myself I can kind of understand the use of the app so if you are hooked on Starbucks and have a Torch you can pick up the app these ways:

  1. Thanks for the direct link.

FYI, that picture with the post has a remarkable resemblance to a Storm. 🙂

  2. Says it doesn’t support my device (9650 OS 6)

  3. Have you tried it out in a Starbucks yet Ronen? I’ve got it on my Tour since launch and every time I’ve tried it in a half dozen different stores around here their reader wouldn’t read the screen and I had to read the card number off to the barrista while they type it in manually. I’m sure they hate that crap what with how easy it is to just swipe a card through the reader.

  4. Lol Timmies… I boycotted them years ago for having such long wait times.

  5. Been waiting for this for a while 🙂

  6. Waiting for NFC equiped Blackberry devices

NFC + Wi-Fi Hotspot in 6.1 will finally bring RIM upto 2010 level of its competition

Hopefully they are released in 2011
