Free Guns’n’Glory Game Takes You to the Wild West

We had a few readers send in tips about this new game by Handy Games called Guns’n’Glory so I had to try it out. The game is actually quite fun though from the reviews it seems like some users are having trouble playing it on certain devices. I found the gameplay to be intuitive on my Torch though the in game ads are a bit annoying. I am not sure how I feel about games with such intrusive ads but I guess you get what you pay for. 🙂

Here is the description of Guns’n’Glory:

What would the Wild West have been without its charismatic villains? Boring! So take a walk in the cowboy boots of Billy the Kid, Jesse James or Butch Cassidy to become a real, low-down bad guy! Form your own gang by recruiting cool cowboys, crazy Mexicans and brave Indians. Take up a smart, strategic position and lie in wait at the canyon to ambush settlers, stagecoaches and the gold train. Rain bullets, lead and flaming arrows down on the pious pioneers! If your victims look like they might escape, set off in pursuit to stop them from alerting the Sheriff! When you have bagged more than a fistful of dollars, you’ll be able to afford cannons or a steam train with a Gatling gun to send around the level!

You can pick up Guns’n’Glory free in App World at this link. Let us know what you think of the games and in game ads. via PocketBerry

  1. Sure does look fun.. Shall download now and try tomorrow 🙂

    • But whilst ads in games isn’t a new concept (lunagames..)
They are getting kinda annyoing, esp those popping out or occupying a large space

  2. i wonder if it is out there for non touch devices and how it plays on them.

  3. Interesting take on a tower defence game. The ability to move your firepower around at any time distinguishes the game from original tower defence games where they are fixed. The ability to upgrade makes this replayable. The graphics are fine but the gameplay is not the greatest with the keyboard and trackball. I imagine it would be better on a touchscreen.

The ads are noticeable but only show up when you have completed a wave or stage.

Looks like I “have set a new highscore and am now the most wanted criminal in these parts!”

  4. I might just have to check this out. At first it didn’t look too interesting but I didn’t realize it’s a tower defense type game. It sounds like an interesting twist on that theme.

  5. Count me ad IN for trying it out!! anything that says GUNS i like

  6. Looks very interesting. I’m gonna download tonight.

  7. Ads are annoying. It disables convenience keys and cuts music when sound wasn’t used at all. I would pass…
