RIM Rolls Out A New Line of “Love What You Do” Videos

I am still trying to make heads and tails out of RIM’s customer use videos from the last few months. I totally applaud RIM highlighting how people use their BlackBerry but these videos are starting to sound like the same script. They all seem to be targeted at either small businesses or some sort of artist or a combination of both. It could be that is the demographic RIM is targeting but they really could branch out a bit beyond that. We get it BlackBerrys are good for business and work… and is even pretty “dope” according to one artist.

  2. I’ve alwaysl loved these videos, I hope to see more of them on tv. Love what you do is a great motto to have.

  3. They do a good job with their ads too bad though it’s freezing in NYC right now and I don’t think anyone is thinking of going surfing.

    I have noticed they are going for non-traditional business though. What about accountants or doctors, we’re too boring I guess? Surfer, shoe designer, legal courier, DJ.

  7. These videos are very well done. I’d like to see more promo of BBM because if people really knew what it is capable of they would be all over it.

  8. I agree with Ronen. These videos are pretty well done. However, it is true that these videos seem to be appealing to a specific demographic. It’d be nice to see a wider range of demographics being targeted and represented in the videos as well.
