LAST CHANCE to WIN a BlackBerry PlayBook in Our Rewards Contest!

HappyCatIt is almost the end of the month which means there are only a few days left to enter our January BerryReview Rewards Contest. The contest is still going on with a BlackBerry PlayBook (base model) when it is publicly available or a $500 Amazon/PayPal gift certificate as the prize. With all the news on the PlayBook this is a great way to get one for free when it comes out!

Every comment, forum post, and tip submission you make on BerryReview during the month of January 2011 will be counted as an entry to win. That means every forum post or comment you contribute increases your chances of winning!

You must be registered and logged in to BerryReview when leaving comments for them to be included in the contest and the winner will be chosen by the BerryReview staff in the beginning of February. You can check out all the details and official rules in the announcement post. If you have any questions comments leave a comment on that post.

  1. Again, what an awesome contest!

$500 vs Playbook, would definitely choose playbook. I think it’ll retail for $499 or more.

    • Well let me know if you notice something good or else am staying .448 i am using UMA on it and is a pain trying to set it up again. It doesn’t take me long just being lazy lol

      • To be honest, I only had .448 on my phone for about 2 hours lol. Not much time to really test it out. I figured, heck, I may as well have the latest leak, so I did it all again with .450.

I still wasn’t able to Shrink it the way I have every other one. I had to leave all the “Application” section in Shrink-A-OS to not shrink so it’s definitely something there that’s causing the java exceptions if you take them out. I was able to shrink the rest (languages, etc) without an issue.

It’s running smooth, but nothing different from 448 that I noticed. The Browser in both 448 and 450 seem to be improved. Apps *seem* to load a bit faster, but that could just be the result of a fresh install.

No experience with UMA. I remember my 9700 on one of the previous OS leak suddenly had UMA enabled and then it disappeared.

      • I did notice that you don’t get the flashing lightning bolt that was in 448 in 450. too bad
