BlackBerry Curve 9300 OS Found Online

imageThe BlackBerry Curve 9300 just got some new OS 6.0 love thanks to the Driphter team. This is the same build we just saw leaked for the 9700 and 9780 and so far reports have it being pretty solid. This version includes the same Facebook app update to v1.9.0.26 but we don’t know much else. Check out OS for yourself at the links below:

  1. I had the 9300 for a couple of days… I had mixed feelings about it..

The screen res, that weird raised trackpad. Not a big fan. Hopefully the Sedona steps it up a bit.

Good for 9300 users to get a newer OS though, hope to see 9800 soon!

  2. I have been using the 380 build since it came out, hopefulle the 448 will resolve some of the scrolling issues in a LOT of apps and menu’s.

  3. I don’t usually post or comment on these things but I wanted to let people know that this link worked flawless for me. I didn’t even have to do anything to the file, deleting the vendor file etc. I just ran the file, and the dekstop manager recognized it automatically so I didn’t bother following the usual instructions because it was meant for a different carrier and I installed it still expecting I may have a night on the computer fixing something but everything actually worked perfect, no issues at all with the file or download at all. Of course always make sure you do a back up incase but I just wanted to let anybody who is reading this know that this leaked version worked for me, I had no issues at all downlaoding or installing on my 3G Curve 9300, I also wanted to note that I am with Bell Mobility (Canada, Ontario). I have had it since yesterday and still no issues so hopefully everyone has it as easy as I did. 🙂 And for those asking, the 6.0 OS is great! 😀 First thing I noticed is everything seems faster, looks nicer, the media is much better upgrade, organized and the volume is WAY louder, not sure why but it is definitely louder, improvement all around. I mainly wanted it for the tabbed browsing, which of course is huge for people who view multiple things at a time on the net. Glad I took the risk. 🙂 For someone like myself with high expectations, I wouldn’t have even known this was a leaked version.
