RIM Launches “BlackBerry for Business” LinkedIn Group

BlackBerry for Business

Over the past few years RIM has truly embraced LinkedIn. You can find out tons of details on what is happening at RIM by just following their own LinkedIn profile. They let us know today that they have launched a “BlackBerry for Business” group on LinkedIn as place for business users to communicate. This is how RIM describes the group:

This community is for business users and decision makers interested in participating in and contributing to an information hub of best practices, advice, case studies and knowledge sharing as it relates to using BlackBerry for and within business. This goal of this group is to help members collaborate with peers to further develop business expertise for optimizing their use of BlackBerry. This group is not intended for official BlackBerry support and is not intended as a recruitment venue.

You can join the group and learn more about it at the group page. Don’t forget to also join the BerryReview LinkedIn group we just started.

  1. Looks like RIM is working to keep their hold on the business sector, with likely challenges from HP and Apple

  2. Thanks for the update. LinkedIn is an invaluable tool for people like me.

Don’t forget to check out the LinkedIn application for the BlackBerry as well, of course:

  3. Hopefully RIM stays committed and VERY active on this. Clearly for the consumer BlackBerry is losing it’s appeal so RIM must retain its lead in the enterprise. Then once they have some truly hot smartphones (which the linked models are NOT) perhaps they can repeat their move from the enterprise to the consumer.
