Kompass Beta Provides Easy BlackBerry Access to Basecamp

project-overview1 dashboard-milestones dashboard-todo

Basecamp users have another option for mobile access to their to do lists and milestones. Kompass has released their BlackBerry client for Basecamp in a public beta after quite a bit of private beta testing. The app is supposed to be very fast and responsive which seems nice since most of the Basecamp apps I have tried in the past are bulky. I could not find the full features of the beta but BlackBerry Cool caught these details:

  • Multi-account access
  • File viewing / downloading
  • Legacy support for older BlackBerry devices (prior to OS 4.6)
  • Improved speed for larger accounts

  1. I think I will give it a try. I wish apps were better in the Blackberry Storefront. Most all are useless to me personally. Great writeup, as usual 🙂

  2. Nice, but daddy wants Campfire.

  3. your article title makes no sense…just sayin

  4. Guess I’m dense today, What exactly does it do?

    • My friend uses this on his iPhone for a small business and loves it. It’s like a to-do list on steroids. He uses it to monitor people’s work schedules and meet monthly deadlines. He says it works great for procrastinators. Their website can explain it in more detail.
