T-Mobile Gets Rated Fastest Wireless Data in Top 100 Markets

T-Mobile fast tweet T-Mobile fast tweet2

Sadly you will not enjoy any of the speed this T-Mobile’s “4G” network adds on any current BlackBerry but this is pretty impressive for T-Mobile. As the last US carrier to add 3G they are now touting how a independent 3rd party road test found their wireless data performance to be the fastest in the top 100 US markets. This nice speed boost really makes T-Mobile’s data cards a much more compelling deal with competitive performance until Verizon rolls out their LTE network nationally.

  1. I’m still waiting to get 3G in my area with T-Mobile. If I don’t get it soon I may go with Big Red.

  2. im happy with t-mobile, even on EDGE on my torch, UMA makes up for a lot of my day.

  3. Funny the internet plan and sim card T-Mo gave me when I purchased the 9780 said 4G.

  4. I won a TMO mytouch 4G and I do have to say it is one feature packed phone. It also has UMA service but it’s just simply called wi-fi calling. You can send/receive txts, mms, etc and do wi-fi calling on it. That was the biggest reason this phone is a keeper for me since I don’t get good coverage in my donut hole home.

I’m puzzled why TMO doesn’t advertise the Wi-Fi calling feature more often for this device. It’s a lifesaver for everywhere you travel out of coverage.

  5. Fastest, ok. You just can’t get that speed much of anywhere. At least not around here.
