Delta Air Lines Launches Free BlackBerry App

delta delta2 delta3

I am flying Delta to Israel later this week so I will definitely be downloading this app. Delta Air Lines released a new app for BlackBerry users that is “designed to make flying Delta Air Lines even more convenient and rewarding.” Early reviews are not that great but it has a huge feature that I think is awesome. The app lets you connect to the GoGo in flight internet for free from your BlackBerry on your next flight. Pretty sweet right?

The app also allows you to:

  • check in for upcoming flights
  • download mobile boarding passes (where available)
  • receive push alerts for flight and gate changes
  • check flight status and get terminal and gate info
  • search upcoming flight schedules
  • see your SkyMiles balance and status
  • check airport info and weather
  • save a photo and note your parking spot

You can download the free Delta app from App World at this link. Let me know what you think of the app in the comments!

  1. Let me know if the check in works. I fly them in March to Vegas. 🙂

  2. Hi, Ronen –
Glad you’re excited to try the new Delta app on your upcoming flight. Let us know your thoughts when you land. Also, don’t forget to take advantage of the free Gogo Inflight Internet on your next trip. Check out Blackberry App World for other apps that help travelers on the go.

  3. Can’t wait to hear how it went Ronen. You’re back soon, right?
