Slightly Updated RIM Apps Show Up in Bold 9700 OS Leak

Update: We have the OTA links thanks to Gadzone:

Twitter AppWorld

One of our readers, Ealvnv, let us know that the latest leaked OS for the BlackBerry Bold 9700 included some small version updates for a few of the official RIM apps. In it we see Facebook, Twitter, Podcasts, and App World have all gotten incremental updates from what I can tell. I do not have a 9700 anymore to extract them but I am sure the somebody in the community will get them out and about soon if RIM does not do it first…

  1. Why would you need a physical 9700 to extract files from the download?

  2. Cause I am too lazy to download and install it on my PC… :) I need to go to bed zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

  3. I get it…just seemed like you were implying one has to have that device to extract apps for it.

  4. Sure they are just small updates to allow usage on the Torch and/or OS6. Bug fixes. I know RIM is working on the FB application and having been asking around for enhancements, but until it hits 2.0 or more, then get excited about a few updated files.

  5. As stated all the new updates taken from 9700 leaked OS. Peace

  6. Yeah. I was in a meeting, but I sent Kyle from GadzoneMobile a link to this post and asked him to extract these late last night. They are working well!
