Us Hello Kitty fiends stick together. And when Jennifer at Cool BlackBerry Themes told me about her latest Hello Kitty themes, I had to give them a mention. HK Apple, shown above has a bottom mini dock on the home screen, cute little green apple icon focuses and adorable little Hello Kitty characters throughout. I played with the 9700 version and yes maam…it’s perfectly sweet.

Her other Hello Kitty theme is HK Buttercup and just like the delicate little flower this theme is soft pastels, sweet little illustrations and flowery style fonts. I think this theme is just adorable while still maintaining an easy-to-use format.
Both themes cost only $3.99 at Cool BlackBerry Themes!

Do people REALLY install Hello Kitty themes on a BlackBerry? A BlackBerry? REALLY? And go out in public? LOL!
Ok, so yeah I can see someone slapping this on a pink Pearl or something. Perhaps Verizon will launch the Style in pink for Valentine’s Day coming up? Then this would fit right in…

OK I’ll admit I did cringe a little when I first saw these HK themes, but not everyone with a BlackBerry wants a manly-themed phone. I think the Buttercup theme is cute, but I’m not digging the script font.
Also, Hello Kitty isn’t just a symbol of all that is “girly.” HK has been the UNICEF Childrens ambassador for the US since the 1980s. Quite a feat for a baby cat with only 1 hairstyle and facial expression lol.
