Developer Webcast Tomorrow: BlackBerry 6 Coming for Verizon Curve 9330 and Bold 9650!

Developers-draftingRIM announced today that they will be holding a BlackBerry 6 developer webcast tomorrow. According to RIM:

BlackBerry 6 is coming soon to the BlackBerry Curve 9330 smartphone and the BlackBerry Bold 9650 smartphone from Verizon!

That is some pretty sweet news for BlackBerry Bold 9650 and BlackBerry Curve 9330 users. It means that an official BlackBerry 6 release is right around the corner from Verizon for both devices. This developer webcast tomorrow will cover the features of the BlackBerry 6 OS including the new browser, universal search, and user interface APIs.

  1. I hope it’s soon so I don’t have to hear that “I want OS 6 on my device” complaints anymore. Perfectly happy with my Tour 9630 with no issues 🙂

  2. This will be so nice. Now, if I could just talk Verizon (or my boss) into replacing my Tour with a Bold. 🙂

  3. You know, I got to thinking, why does RIM announce these only a day in advance? Don’t they get that people have lives and not every developer is 100% a developer? Give us a week’s notice RIM so some of us can adjust our schedules.
