T-Mobile to Offer Camera-less BlackBerry Bold 9780

BlackBerry Bold 9780 camera less tmobile We have already heard the official word from T-Mobile that they will be offering the BlackBerry Bold 9780 on November 17th for $129.99 after a $50 mail in rebate. One of the biggest features of the BlackBerry Bold 9780 is the upgraded 5MP camera compared to the 3.2MP camera on the 9700. According to the reliable TmoNews we might be seeing a camera less version of the 9780 launch on T-Mobile.

Supposedly both versions will launch on November 17th for the same price. I guess there are still people who need camera less devices which is a hard to find commodity now. On the other hand it kind of sucks to miss out on one of the best parts of the refresh.

  1. I guess this is for folks in certain corporate/government locations that don’t allow cameras.

    • True I can see government folks and contractors that have these requirements. I actually saw one guy who had to superglue over his camera to get it to pass at one of the places he worked. Other places just make you check your phone.

  2. Exactly. I’ve seen some people try to get away with facing their camera lens down when they put their phone in the doggie dish before they go through the metal detectors. AT&T offered a camera-less Tour 9630 for the same price as the regular Tour. You’d think camera-less versions would be a little cheaper than the regular versions.
