ScanLife Offers IE, Firefox, and Chrome QR Code Generator Plugin

scanlife chrome ScanLife is one of, if not the most, popular mobile QR code scanning apps on all platforms. There are quite a few ways to generate QR codes for any URL from your browser (my favorite being Mobile Barcoder) but ScanLife decided to make it easier with a new plugin for Internet Explorer, Firefox, and Chrome. You just install their new ScanLife Browser Extension and it will offer a new “Add to ScanLife” button. There is also the option to just right click on a link to generate a code.

The codes can then be used from any QR code BlackBerry app including their own ScanLife app. You can pick up the new extensions at:

The app generates all three mobile barcode formats including EZcode, QR Code and Data Matrix. Business users can also sign up for a ScanLife account to manage and get reporting on all of their QR codes at via Mashable
