You should always be wary of application with disclaimers like the one for Ghost Radar by Jack Jones:
Note: results from this application can not be verified scientifically and therefore should be used for entertainment purposes.
John pointed out a new app that is selling pretty well in App World called Ghost Radar. It is currently #26 in the top paid category of App World. The app is designed to “detect paranormal activity” which should send all sorts of warning bells ringing in your head. It uses “various sensors” on your BlackBerry to “Measure electromagnetic fields, vibrations, and sounds.” Supposedly Ghost Radar sets itself apart from “traditional paranormal equipment that can easily be fooled” by “analyzing the readings from sensors giving indications only when interesting patterns in the readers have been made.
Seriously I cannot make this stuff up if I tried. I am at a loss for words trying to describe Ghost Radar any further but Jack Jones must be on to something. The $2.99 Ghost Radar app has almost 70 reviews from users who have purchased the app. I am not sure if anybody purchased it as an actual Ghost Detector or if this is just the Halloween equivalent of a fart app…
PS: Anybody else think that the “Quantum Vox Converter” is just a fancy name for a microphone? Sounds like something created by a BS generator.

If they had priced this at $.99 it would probably already be at #1.
“Quantum Vox Converter” ranks right up there in my book with “Proton Pack”.
