  1. I have installed it and noticed RIM calendar icon now is showing the current date :-). I think that was not possible with previous versions.

  2. Does the AT&T version support UMA also…I have T-Mobile. I should delete the vendor.xml file correct and do the install ? Also how is the battery life and is the whole OS stable?

    Thanks

  3. Battery life is pretty good.. and it is stable. The Calendar icon does NOT seem to show current date. (at least on my 9700…) Response seems a bit snappier overall. Haven’t found any real changes other than the LOCK button now puts it into standby as well as locking keyboard.

  4. The battery life is even better without this update !!!

Waiting for the bug free version of OS6 for my Primary Business phone..

  5. I meant to say the battery life IS better with this update.

  6. i am going to give this a try!

  7. I got a notice from BB about the update, and I tried to install it, but needed to make changes to PC, and did not know how to do it. I am running Windows 7, and instructions did not appear to be Windows 7. Update aborted, said it could not install.

Also, I have a new icon on my screen and I have no idea what it is. It is a little Gold dot with a # 1 beside it, and it appears next to my Gold e-mail envelope that shows the # of e-mails I have. Can you tell me what it is?

    Thanks,
    Lee
