Radical Draw Photo Editing App Supports non-Touchscreen Devices

DrawToolsScreen When Radical Draw was released it was only available for the BlackBerry Storm series devices. They let us know that they have updated the app so that it now also works on all trackpad and trackball enabled devices as long as they have OS 5.0+ and a 480×360 screen resolution. That means the BlackBerry Tour 9630, Bold 9650, 9700, and Curve 8900.

They have also added new features such as;

  • A function for lines with arrow heads
  • More clip art.
  • Changed the appearance of our "pressed" buttons.
  • Added more Menu Key items
  • We now save line weight, text size, and arrow size between applications sessions.

Radical Draw is available in the store for $7.99. Keep in mind that the app is almost 4mb so if you are low on space you might be pushing it with this app. As a reminder the core feature set for Radical Draw lets you:

  • Draw lines shapes or text
  • Select different colors and line weights
  • Includes clip art to help those without artistic abilities create professional looking pictures.
  • Open any clip art or picture compatible with the BlackBerry Storm and insert it as clip art.
  • Rotate Pictures
  • Crop Pictures
  • Email pictures directly from Radical Draw
  • Works with full resolution 3.0 MP pictures
  • File Open screens include thumbnails, Delete, Rename, and New Folder functions. (OS 5.0.0.607 and later only)
