Hot! Syncamatic 2.0 Now Wirelessly Syncs Macs & PC’s Using Push Service

Syncamatic Syncamatic really went on a field day today with the release of Syncamatic 2.0. We mentioned Syncamatic back in May but they have been busy since then. Their app lets you wirelessly sync your contacts, calendar, notes, memos, and tasks to your BlackBerry. Originally they only supported Outlook on a PC but today they just added Mac support! The new Mac version of the app syncs your Address Book and iCal with your BlackBerry along with memos synced to your Macs Notes folder. On top of that the new version adds BlackBerry Push Services sync in the paid version so you get push synchronization!!!

In future versions they plan on adding Chinese and Spanish support so the app is planned to be multilingual. They are also finally adding a web interface soon that will allow you to interact with all of your synched data from your browser kind of like MobileMe. Sweet stuff!

Keep in mind that there is both a premium and free version of Syncamatic. The main difference between the two is that the free version only lets you manually sync data and the premium version lets you setup automatic sync. With the new Push support I would recommend forking over the $6.99/month for the premium version if you can afford it.

Updates in version 2.0 include:

  • Automatic synchronization using BlackBerry® Push Service
Keep your data up-to-date in real time while minimizing impact on battery life.
  • Active Organization
Stay productive while Syncamatic manages and mitigates duplicate entries between your computer and mobile device.
  • The Always On Experience
Continue using your BlackBerry® normally while Syncamatic synchronizes seamlessly in the background.
  • Lossless Synchronization
When coverage is lost, your data isn’t.
  • Faster Synchronization
Open Syncamatic directly from your Address Book, Calendar, Tasks or MemoPad.
  • Secure Wireless
All data sent over the air is encrypted using the latest and most secure techniques.
  • Free Software Updates
Keep Syncamatic running smooth and error-free with instant software update notifications.

The free 30 day trial of the premium version is available at this link in App World or on their website www.syncamatic.com. If you don’t pay for the premium version after 30 days it will just revert to the free version.

  1. Still no outlook 2010 support…

  2. HORRID. Tried 2 installations; both times froze up my Blackberry and the desktop kept losing connection with the sync server. Uninstalled from both iMac and Handheld – with good riddance… Sep 4 2010

  3. May be I am lucky, my BB and iMac work fine.
I like it, the wireless sync, just I didn’t pay, may stay in free version.

  4. Come on guys! Since when we Mac users enjoy a true wireless product like Syncamatic? I paid just to get my berry to sync over the air, and with Push that’s even better! Can’t wait for their web portal to come out, hopefully it’s as good looking as MobileMe.

  5. I am not good on those technical stuffs, asked my BF to help and he found it. I don’t know it is easy to setup or not (he did it all), but it looks pretty to me, works fine on my BB and Macbook.
