Sprint BlackBerry Curve 9330 Already Has Published Problems?

9330 Issue Mark this in the odd column. Piotr from BBNews.pl let me know that RIM has published a knowledge base article detailing a relatively minor issue with the Sprint BlackBerry Curve 9330. The funny thing is that the Sprint 9330 has yet to hit the market or even get a release date. True RIM has already announced the 9300 series but this is still weird for RIM to do.

Turns out that when launched the Sprint BlackBerry Curve 9330 will have trouble doing a master factory reset using the ##RTN command. Here is a description of the issue:

After the ##RTN command is performed on a Sprint BlackBerry Curve 9330 smartphone, BlackBerry App World storefront and all preloaded games other than BrickBreaker and Word Mole are unexpectedly removed without user action.

I guess RIM is doing us a favor uninstalling other preloaded games since they are usually trials? The workaround for now is just to reinstall App World but the games will not come back. Hopefully RIM introduces a bug in future versions that will stop carriers from preloading crap-ware icons on my homescreen. Now that is a bug I can get behind!
