Hypoxia Media Player Streams Media to AND from your BlackBerry

HypoxiaPlayer The team from mblware have been working hard on a sweet new media player for BlackBerry. It is more than just a full featured media player that can stream music and video from your network. It can also act as a media server streaming music and video to devices and other phones. It has a cool skinning system that lets you change how it looks and feels or make your own skin if you are up to it. The app lets you stream from your home or work network from apps like Windows Media Player, TVersity, XBMC, Myth TV with Hypoxia Player. You can also stream media to any UPNP device like the Xbox 360, Windows Media Player, or another BlackBerry!

Other features include:

  • Custom Playlists - Import, edit, and create your own custom playlists containing songs, videos, or both. Hypoxia will seamlessly play both audio and video within the same playlists.
  • Message Notifications - Quickly preview incoming SMS, Email, and PIN notifications right inside Hypoxia without interrupting your playback
  • Hypoxia PicShows - Create a custom slideshow of pictures, backed with your favourite audio tracks. A great way to share memories with others

So far the app is not yet available for purchase but they plan on selling it for $7.99. You can check out more info about it at www.hypoxiaplayer.com.
