The latest news that has everybody talking is that MobileCrunch noticed that RIM picked up the domain BlackPad.com. They are speculating that it is for RIM’s upcoming tablet. PocketBerry noticed that RIM also owns BlackBerryTorch.com which they think might point to the 9800 launching as the BlackBerry Torch 9800.
It is some interesting speculation but RIM is always picking up domain names that they never use. For example, we mentioned previously how RIM picked up InsideBlackBerry.com along with AlwaysBetOnBlackBerry.com and my absolute favorite:
onceyougoblackberryyouwillnevergobackberry.com
One of our writers, Todd, joked that maybe RIM should develop blackberrypwnsapple.com

Awesome picture Ronen. If my grandparents came home holding a huge BlackBerry Storm I’d be busting up.

I am not sure who created the image but I think it might have been made by techcrunch. I always find it funny when people get smartphones and have no idea how to use them. RIM does a better job than most in keeping it simple but people get stupider.
