Wow that was quick! We just heard that RIM had opened up the private beta of Desktop Manager 6.0 and already we are seeing it available for download. The team at Driphter created some pretty easy to follow instructions and install files for the new Desktop Manager so download it if you are willing to live on the wild side. No word on if this version finally brings support for Outlook 2010 but I hope it does.
FOLLOW the instructions please and let us know what you think. Keep in mind this is a leaked beta so proceed at your own risk!
Instructions from Driphter: All you have to do is scroll down to the bottom of the folder after you unRAR and run setup.exe. It’s pretty simple. When you first run it may seem like it’s hanging at the load screen, but it IS NOT. Just let it do its thing and you will be good to go.
You can pick up the download at:

Installed. Works like a charm !! I’m impressed. It’s a very user friendly interface. No BlackBerry Protect on this still. Still waiting on that.

Watch out, no Certificate Synchronization (that I’ve found at least).

DM 6 looks great.
Unfortunately it will not sync with 64bit Outlook 2010.
Since I purchased the full version of 2010, downgrading to Outlook 2007 isn’t an option. Any suggestions?

Download works great, been waiting for this for months. Only to discover it doesn’t work with 64bit Outlook!!! It suggests I install the 36 bit version.
Does anyone know whether they will launch a 64 bit version?
